| POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Skill Set: · Linux and open source applications problem solving · Hands on experience in installing and configuring RHEL 4.0 / RHEL 5.0 using best practices · Hands on experience on DNS, Apache, FTP, Samba, NFS · Knowledge of Tomcat, MySQL · Experience on Sendmail / Postfix · Installation and configuration of Squid proxy and Samba Server. · Require both verbal and written skills to interact with US team · Should be a process driven person with a zeal for professionalism . Should be able to give Training and presentations . Should be able write technical documents JOB DESCRIPTION: We require Linux enthusiasts with an experience of 1-3 years. Passionate & brilliant Linux freshers are also welcome. The person will be involved in solving challenging Linux & Open Source scenarios. The person should have capabilities in designing level one Linux solutions, install and configure new software on Unix/Linux environments. Responsibilities: · Understanding client's technical requirements · Matching requirements with Linux and Open source solutions · Implementing Linux and Open source solutions · Providing support on such solutions whenever required · Constantly upgrading his/her knowledge and skills through self-learning, trainings arranged by company · Implementation of security in real time servers · Monitoring network activity as well as server performance · Designing and configuring the networking infra in a dynamic environment · Mentor, coach and manage a small team or a shift | |
