The main duties in this area are: â?¢ Creation, support and maintenance of Oracle pl/sql code. Oracle 10. Packages, procedures, views, ETL scripts and reconciliation, and the overall schema. â?¢ Understanding existing schemas and providing small enhancements to existing functional systems. â?¢ Responsible for the development, packaging and integration of major as well as minor releases â?¢ Working as a third level support for systems newly developed as well as several smaller existing database based applications. â?¢ Working with UI developers to provide efficient and fast interfaces to/from the UI. â?¢ Working with clients in other groups to support their data needs from our systems. For this interesting and challenging job, the following skills and experiences are needed: â?¢ Higher education in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent â?¢ Deep knowledge of Oracle and SQL (packages, procedures, views, sql loaderâ?¦). â?¢ Good experience as a software developer (at least 3 years practical experience) â?¢ Practical experience managing database code using Subversion We are looking for a team player with the ability to solve problems and think abstractly.
