Description
Candidates should have hands on experience with : Good demonstration skill and troubleshooting experience on Solaris Experience on Veritas Volume Manager and Cluster Environment. Good Understanding of system virtualization. Experience on SendMail and DNS, NIS and FTP Server Administration and Troubleshooting. Significant experience with PERL and shell scripting Experience in managing Business Critical Applications and Database Servers. Experience on System Performance Analysis and Tuning. Knowledge on InfoBlox, IronPort and Majordomo. Desired Profile 1.Monitor incident and service management queues 2.Ensure the department is in compliance with Change Management policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements 3.Install, patch and upgrade OS software for Solaris and Red Hat Linux systems 4.Develop process and work instruction documentation to enable Level 1 & 2 support from 24/7 (NOC) staff 5.Monitor and maintain UNIX systems and infrastructure services such as FTP, DNS, NIS, BIND, Veritas Cluster Server, Sendmail and syslog 6.Review the overall environment and inform management of new technologies and best practices to improve system performance and availability
